My story is better than yours.
And so it is told.

I posted this on Facebook a couple of weeks ago. It got no "likes".
This is not a statement from me about my story telling ability.
It is a verse describing so many conversations that I find myself in these days. So many people who just want to get their story told that they hardly even notice that you are there. I can't say that I am exempt from this routine, but I do make an effort to withdrawal myself when I am sucked in.
The sweetest sound to anyone's ear is the sound of their own name, and nothing builds one's self image like having more stories to tell then the person you are speaking to.
